Decision support toolkit

A decision support toolkit based on the Management of Acute Dental Problems guidance is available for healthcare professionals in any UK setting. The toolkit is intended primarily for non-dental healthcare professionals but may also have relevance for dental users.

The toolkit is hosted on NHS Scotland’s Right Decision Service platform and provides accessible, interactive versions of the guidance flowchart pathways, to support patient management and care.

The toolkit can be accessed via the Right Decision Service website at: https://www.rightdecisions.scot.nhs.uk/sdcep-management-of-acute-dental-problems/

The toolkit is also available via a downloadable app:

• visit the App Store or Google Play and search for the NHS Scotland Right Decision Service app
• install the app
• search for the SDCEP Management of Acute Dental Problems toolkit
• select the toolkit
• save the toolkit as a favourite by selecting 'Add to my toolkits'

The toolkit can then be used (including offline if required) via the 'My Toolkits' tab.
